Leah arrives for dinner with her boyfriend, Brian, looking her best, as she is sure tonight is the night he will finally propose. To her hurt and embarrassment, he breaks up with her, insisting it's for the best since "they want different things." Though it's a small town and Leah knows it will set tongues wagging, she gets up and storms out of the restaurant. Walking to clear her head, Leah arrives at the fountain in the center of town, long rumored to grant wishes.
