He pulled away, holding my face in his hands. “Val, I want you to marry me. For real. I want to propose to you, for real. I want you to become mine. I want a happily ever after, with you.”

“Are you telling me that you want to marry me, for real?”

“Yes, Valerie, yes,” he said without an ounce of hesitation. Again, he kissed me, pulling me close, our bodies locked together, a blanket of warmth wrapping around my soul.

“When?” I asked breathlessly as I looked into his eyes.

“Whenever you want,” he answered, gently nipping at my ear in a playful fashion.

I grinned deviously. “Let’s get married tomorrow! Wait, no, let’s get married today! Wait, better yet, let’s get married right now.” I rose onto my tippy toes, my face dangerously close to his before I whispered, “Let’s run away from here! Take my hand and never let me go!” I yelled, tears flowing down my cheeks.

He stood there, stunned. It was the first time he had seen me cry in person. For the first time, I dropped the strong woman image of me and made myself vulnerable to him because I trusted him. Cam would never hurt me again.

He took me into his arms, kissing me nonstop as the tears kept pouring forward.

Suddenly, he grabbed my hand. “Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!”

I giggled, following him through the gym. We left, holding hands together, practically skipping. Okay, Cam wasn’t skipping, he wasn’t even close to skipping, but I felt so light hearted that I had the urge to jump up and fly.

Once outside, he grabbed me by the hips and hoisted me onto the back of his motorcycle where we drove away from the city, leaving all our worries behind us.

  Chapter 22

  Camden

  That evening.

The vibrations of the bike rode along my spine and settled in my chest. Valerie’s arms tightened as I rounded a bend, going fast, maybe too fast, but that’s half the fun, right? The engine roared through the night.

I gripped the handlebars, driving even faster.

Valerie edged closer, her body practically fused to mine. Ah, it felt so good to have her here with me.

In the distance, Atlantic City came into view. The lights twinkled like stars.

Soon, we pulled up to an all-night wedding chapel. I helped Valerie off the bike, holding her hand. “You’re sure you want to do this? I mean, if you’ve changed your mind, I understand.”

She responded by kissing me. It was all the confirmation I needed.

Hand in hand, we walked into the chapel. Val was wearing that dress. The dress that fit her perfectly, like it was made for her. The same one she wore to the bar that night. Only now, she looked even more beautiful, like an angel that’s about to become my wife.

I squeezed her hand as we walked down the aisle toward the altar. There, a minister was ready for us, holding an oversized Bible in his hands.

My heart was beating hard and fast. I couldn’t believe this was actually happening. After waiting for so long, I was finally going to call her mine.

I barely remembered the ceremony. The minister droned on and on and on. It felt like he was trying to purposely drag it out into eternity. All I wanted to do was say those two magical words, kiss my wife, and get out of there.

“Valerie Taylor, do you take Camden Birch to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

My ears perked up at those words. I looked over at Valerie to see that there were tears in her eyes. My heart tightened with happiness as a bright smile painted her face. She was happy and that made me happy, too.

“I do…” She breathed, squeezing my hands. Shaking, she managed to slip my ring onto my finger. It fit perfectly.

“And do you, Camden Birch, take Valerie Taylor to be your lawfully wedded wife?”

“I do,” I said without skipping a heartbeat, sliding the ring into place.

“You may now kiss the bride!” And without hesitation, that’s exactly what I did. I bent her backward until her hair brushed against the floor and only then did I kiss her, putting all my love and passion into that kiss.

  She melted against me.

I held her tight, our lips dancing together.

My heart thumped so hard I thought it would explode.

This couldn’t be real. This had to be some sort of dream—my dream.

I broke away and smiled at my new wife.

  Click!

She snapped a picture of our special moment and posted it on social media. “Choke on that, Mr. CEO.” She giggled.

  I laughed. “Here, one more.”

  Click!

This time, I took a picture of us holding hands, showing off our wedding rings. “My agent is going to have a fit,” I smirked.

  “Good.”

  “Fuck them, right?”

  “Exactly.”

“It’s just you and me, baby,” I said, kissing the top of her head.

I then turned off my phone and shoved it into my pocket. I wouldn’t be needing it anymore.

  “Ready?” I asked.

  “For what?”

“This.” Suddenly, I swept her off her feet and carried her out of the chapel. I quickly found a set of elevators and rode it up to the wedding suite on the top floor. It was a gorgeous little place, but I didn’t take much time to enjoy the scenery. Right now, all that mattered was making love to my beautiful wife.

Gently, I placed her on the bed. It was enormous.

She looked up at me with this adorable expression on her face.

Slowly, I got on top of her, holding her cheeks in my hand. “I love you,” I whispered.

“I love you, too, Cam.” She smiled. “I’ve never been this happy before.”

“I’m the luckiest man in the world.” Gently, I ran my thumbs across her skin. “To have a gorgeous girl like you as my wife. Dreams really do come true.”

  She blushed.

I leaned down and kissed her burning cheeks before I started to undress her. I took my time, decorating her skin with kisses.

She moaned ever so softly, her back arched.

I ran my fingertips along her body, watching as the goosebumps formed on her skin.

She shivered, running her fingers through my hair before carefully unbuttoning my shirt. Once it was off, she kissed my shoulder, nipping at it playfully.

“Oh, was that how you wanted it?” I asked, raising an eyebrow before I ripped off the rest of her dress.

A second later, she tore off the rest of my clothes until we were both naked.

I looked down at her, still unable to believe that this was really happening. Valerie was my wife. I leaned down and kissed her, letting my lips linger as I took my cock into my hand, guiding it toward her entrance.

  She was tight. Very tight.

So, I slowly edged my way inside, burying myself deep, so deep that my balls were nuzzled against her ass.

She moaned, head rolling back, chest quivering.

“Do you like that, baby girl?”

“You’re so big!” She exclaimed, clutching at the sheets.

“Don’t worry, I’m going to make love to you all night long. Nice and slow.” As I whispered these words, I started thrusting my hips, taking my time, wanting this moment to last.

  Her pussy tightened around me.

  It felt so good.

I kissed the side of her neck, letting my lips wander along her collarbone.

“Mmm, Cam…” She tugged at my hair, pushing her hips into the air, gyrating them slightly, adding to the pleasure.

I continued our pace, making sweet, sweet love to her, listening to her every moan and mewl. It turned me on beyond measure.

My hands roamed her body, feeling her every inch. Already, I was addicted to this woman. She was the missing puzzle piece in my life.

“Cam… I love it…” She moaned, even louder this time.

“Cum for me, baby girl.” I tugged at her earlobe, trying to push her over the edge.

And, it didn’t take long for her to start shaki
ng. Her toes curled. Her pussy tightened even further, making it nearly impossible for me to move. But still, I continued, fucking her with long, slow thrusts, balls slapping against her ass.

“Fuck!” She screamed, juices gushing from her pussy and around my member.

It was too much for me to handle. I tried to hold back but my balls tightened before I could pull out. String after string of cum erupted from my cock and into her womb.

I collapsed on top of her, pulling her into my arms.

“Mmm.” She mused, nuzzling into my shoulder. “That was amazing, Cam.”

“Oh, that was only the beginning,” I said with a grin.

The next day, I woke up and rolled over to find Valerie fast asleep by my side. Gently, I brushed her hair to the side before kissing her forehead. She opened her eyes, looking up at me from underneath her eyelashes. It made my head melt.

“Hello, my wife,” I said, leaning down to kiss those sweet, sweet lips of hers.

  She giggled. “Hello, my husband.”

Suddenly, she jumped on top of me and started planting a million tiny kisses all over my face.

I laughed, a bright smile etched into my face. I held her by the hips as she supported herself with her hands on my chest. “Hey, I’m not much of a ring person and honestly I’m scared I’m going to lose my band somehow. So, I have an idea.”

“What’s that?” I asked, raising an eyebrow in question.

“Let’s go get matching tattoos on our fingers, that way we can never forget.”

“Let’s do it,” I said, enthusiastically. “That way the whole world can know that I married the most beautiful girl in the whole universe.”

  She blushed, deeply.

I chuckled, kissing those burning cheeks.

We kissed for a little while longer before rolling out of bed. Playfully, I spanked her ass to get her out the door and into the kitchen where we ate some breakfast. With smiles on our faces, we nibbled at each other’s food and kissed each other every opportunity we got.

Giggling, Valerie looked at me with a naughty look on her face. “Maybe you want some dessert for breakfast?”

“What do you have in mind?” I asked, watching her as she got up, bent over the kitchen table, and pulled down her pajama bottoms, exposing the black, lacy thong she was wearing. “Mmm, if that’s on the menu then sign me up!”

“Today’s special,” she said, voice low and sensual as she moved her hips from side to side, trying to turn me on.

  It was working.

I grabbed her cheek in my hair, squeezing it between my fingers.

She moaned softly as I hooked my finger into the waistband of her panties, tugging on it until the fabric disappeared between her folds. She squirmed on the table, wiggling in the sexiest way.

I watched her, hunger in my eyes. I wanted to tease her but at the same time, I couldn’t resist the temptation. With a flick of my wrist, I snapped off her panties, throwing them to the side. A second later, I dropped to my knees and took her pussy into my mouth, letting my tongue circle around her clit, moving fast, flicking back and forth, driving her crazy.

With her hips in my hands, I lifted her slightly, drinking her nectar straight from the source. My tongue plunged into her depths, lapping up every drop of her sweet honey. I was an addict, there was no doubt about it.

My nails dug into her skin as I pushed my face even deeper, trying to make her lose her mind.

She screamed, pulling at my hair.

I could tell she was getting close and that’s when I stopped. Before she could protest, I pushed her onto the table, tits rubbing against the smooth wooden surface. I shoved my middle finger inside her hole, pumping in and out. “Mmm, someone’s nice and wet for me,” I whispered, running my nails down her back with my other hand.

Between my legs, my cock twitched, desperate for some action.

I gave into the desire, plunging into her folds. I held her by the hips as I fucked her hard. Her body rocked against the kitchen table as I went to town, pounding her harder and harder with each passing second.

She moaned in pleasure, head thrown back, body tense.

I pulled her hair, watching her back arch.

Her pussy tightened around me. She was on the cusp of orgasm.

I rammed into her even faster.

She screamed, losing herself in climax.

A second later, my balls tightened, exploding their seed inside of her. I collapsed on top of her, breathing hard. As we caught our breaths, I ran my fingertips along her shoulders. “Before we get those tattoos, how about a round two in front of the fireplace?”

She chuckled. “You’re going to kill me with this wild sex drive of yours.”

  “Don’t lie, you like it.”

“No.” She countered. “I love it.”

Eventually, we arrived at the tattoo parlor. She looked nervous, but I held her hand, squeezing it gently. “It’ll be okay,” I promised.

  “Did it hurt?”

“Just a little. Don’t worry.” We both looked at my other hand. A beautiful tattooed ring with her name—Valerie—printed on the side. “Are you ready?”

She nodded as the tattoo artist drew on a matching tattoo complete with my name on the side. A feeling of pride washed over me. She was mine. Forever. I leaned down and kissed the tattoo. “Damn, I’m so happy right now.”

“Me too, Cam. I almost feel like I’m dreaming. Maybe you should pinch me…”

  I chuckled.

As we left the parlor, I looked at her. “Hey, let’s go to Paris right now.”

“Wait, like right now, right now?”

“Yes! Why not? Let’s go right now!” I yanked her toward my bike. “We need a honeymoon, don’t we?”

By the time we arrived at the airport, my private jet was already waiting for us.

We settled into the back of the aircraft. I held her hand for liftoff. Once the jet was on course to Paris, I looked at my new wife, my heart swelling with joy. “Are you happy you married me?”

“Yes.” She smiled. “I’m the happiest girl in the world.”

  “Really?”

“Really,” she said with a nod.

“I’m sorry that I made you wait so long.”

“You were worth the wait.” She kissed me gently. “Dreams like this are worth waiting for.”

  I smiled, kissing her forehead.

After a while, we fell asleep, Valerie’s head on my chest.

I woke up to find that we were seconds away from arriving in Paris.

There, we did everything. We went to have French croissants. We explored the fashion scene. We checked out the museums. We even walked underneath the Eiffel tower.

Once underneath the beautiful landmark, I took Valerie by the hand. “Our marriage vows were beautiful but right now I want to read my own individual marriage vow that I wrote for you.”

  Valarie blushed, speechless.

I looked straight into her eyes and recited the vows. I had committed them to memory.

“I promise my heart, my body, and my soul to you! I promise to love you unconditionally! I promise to be by your side anytime you need my help! You are my heart. You are my soul. You are my life. I will move mountains for you! I will break rules for you! I will always choose you over everything else! Together, with you, hand in hand, heart in heart, forever, always, and for eternity.”

She blinked, tears flowing from her eyes. Suddenly, she lunged forward, wrapping her arms around my neck, hugging me tightly. Her body shook, struggling to contain her emotions.

I rubbed her back. “It’s okay, you don’t have to say anything back. I just wanted to tell you my vows, without asking or wanting anything in return.” I took her face in my hands and gently kissed her lips. “It’s getting late, how about we grab some dinner?”

Nearby, we found a phenomenal little restaurant. We couldn’t stop eating the food, bellies bloated by the time we left.

Outside, the night air whipped around us. Valerie sh
ivered so I shrugged off my jacket and draped it across her shoulders.

  “What next?” She asked.

I looked over at her. “Honestly, I don’t know. I think I may have pissed off my agent just enough to forfeit my career. But that’s okay because I would gladly choose you over my career.” I squeezed her hand in mine, running my finger along her tattoo. “I will find other ways to support us. You will never have to worry about finances. I’ll take care of us. No matter what, I’ll find a way to hustle it out. But, for now, let’s just enjoy our honeymoon.”

She shook her head. “No, Cam, you can’t do that.” She looked into my eyes. “Please, don’t give up. I will never forgive myself if I take your career away from you. That would be like taking a piece of your soul.”

I scrunched my brows in confusion. “But, I thought you were upset that I was ambitious and committed to my career?”

We sat down on a bench where she turned to look at me, our fingers locked together. “No, I wasn’t upset over that. I was upset because I thought you didn’t love me. All I ever wanted was for you to love me. That’s all I’ve ever wanted.” She ran her fingers along my cheek and smiled. “I will never cut your wings. Never.” She paused, gathering her thoughts. “Now that I know you love me, nothing else matters. I am your wife and my mission in life is to love you. That’s all I want. True love supports, empowers, and recharges. We are married but true love, it sets you free on every level.”

She spoke with such conviction that I didn’t dare interrupt her, captivated by her passion.

“For you, happiness means winning at the Super Bowl. So, you go and get it and you make me proud! I will be by your side. I will be your number one fan and supporter! Go baby, achieve your dreams!” She pushed me almost like I could go win the Super Bowl this very moment.
